Cinko was quite dissappointed at the Falkirk Wheel, as it was a Sunday evening when we visited, meaning that there was no real life around the structure.

Normally during a weekday or Saturday you would see the wheel turning to allow boats to pass from the Union Canal at the top of the hill (rightmost of the image) to the Forth & Clyde Canal (which runs along off to the left of the image).

Cinko just kept throwing his arms in the air shouting "why is theres no boaties?", it didn't matter how much we explained to him he would just ask "why?" over and over again.
