As we drove north towards the Isle of Skye all of a sudden the heavens opened in such a way that is not so common in May, we were battered with snow and sleat for about 25mins and it slowed our pace down.

Myself and Mireille always make a point of stopping off at Eilean Donan Castle on the way to Skye and on the way down again to Glasgow, and with the snow being hurled at us for the miles leading up to this famous castle Rolf was desperately needing to get out and stretch his legs.
